Day 1: Arrival – Drive to Sweet waters tented Camp.

On arrival, you will meet our driver at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for a drive to Sweet waters tented camp in the northern part of Kenya. Arrive in time for lunch, after have an afternoon game drive in the Sanctuary or visit the Chimpanzee primates at Sweet waters. Dinner and overnight at this camp.

Day 2: Sweet waters – transfer to Samburu

Early in the morning you will depart for Samburu to start your 8 Day Kenya Cultural Safari and expect to reach there in lunch time. Have lunch and relax as you get prepared for the afternoon game drive. The area around the Uaso Nyiro River rewards awe inspiring views of giraffes, gerenuk gazelles, Somali ostrich and Grevy’s zebra, buffaloes, leopards and more. Dinner and Overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge.

Day 3: Full day in Samburu (Visit Samburu people).

This day is spent in the Samburu villages and you will an insight into the culture and normal life of these people. Things to engage in include how to make fires, milk animals, fetch fire wood, and learn about Samburu beadwork, weaving hut building and leatherwork. This is one of the great Cultural encounters in Kenya. Dinner and Overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge.

Day 4: Samburu – Transfer to Lake Naivasha

Have morning breakfast and later transfer to Lake Naivasha. Check in at the lodge for lunch and later you can engage in numerous relaxing activities such as golf, tennis and swimming. Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Sopa lodge.

Day 5: Lake Naivasha – Visit the Kikuyu local tribes

Have morning breakfast and after get prepared for a visit to the three communities that live on Mount Eburru. These three communities come from the Kikuyu’s Turkana and Nderobo tribes. Of the three tribes, Nderobo are the most interesting. You will visit a local school where children are more excited to sing for visitors. The tours takes about two hours and later visit the Masai Centre and the Crater Lake. Dinner and Overnight at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge.

Day 6: Drive to Masai Mara National Reserve.

After morning breakfast check out for your two nights in the great Masai Mara National Reserve. This reserve is inhabited by a range of Wildlife species including wildebeests, giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, gazelles, antelopes, zebras, prides of lions and more. This is one of the best places to see the famed Wildebeest migration. Dinner and Overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 7: Visit the Masai People

You will have a morning game drive and after visit the traditional Masai villages for cultural encounters. This village is situated just in the middle of Mara, its structures are constructed out of natural materials. This visit lets tourists to interact with the Masai people who differ themselves with unique cultural ways of life. These people usually perform cultural dances to the visitors and tourists get the opportunity to dress up their traditionally designed outfits. Dinner and Overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 8: Masai Mara- drive back to Nairobi

After great moments in Masai Mara, you will drive back to Nairobi for your return flight. End of Safari in Kenya.
