Itinerary

Day 1Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park

On this first day, we will pick you from either Kampala, Entebbe depending on where you will be at and have the long 6 hour drive to Queen Elizabeth National park, where you will lodge and rest for the night because of the activities ahead the next day and need to rest.

Day 2Game Drive in the Park and a boat cruise along Kazinga Channel

You will wake up early before sunrise and have snacks already provided for you.  And we will embark on a long game drive in Queen Elizabeth National park.  The park is flooded with plenty of wild life like Lions, Elephants, Uganda kob, hyenas among other animals which you will enjoy to explore. The park is gifted with spectacular vegetation that you are bound to find breathtaking.

Later in the afternoon yo will embark on a boat launch on the Kazinga channel. The channel is a fresh water channel joining lakes Edward and George. It is known for its high population of hippopotamus. You will also enjoy a view of crocodiles and water birds like flamingos and pelicans. Many more activities will also be available to you like the tree climbing lion trekking among others.

Day 3Travel to Kibale Forest National Park

On this day we will be starting with a hearty breakfast the a journey to kibale national forest park, then a short briefing at the park before undertaking the chimpanzee trekking. Chimpanzee trekking is one of the most fascinating safaris undertaken in the forest since it is habited by a vast number of the primates.

Day 4Kibale Forest Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Birding

You will have a hearty breakfast before heading to Kibale National Forest Park, then a short briefing at the park before undertaking the chimpanzee trekking. Chimpanzee trekking is one of the most fascinating safaris undertaken in the forest since it is habited by a vast number of the primates. Also expect to see a variety of bird species nestled under trees in the forest.

After spending time with the chimpanzees, you will have lunch and thereafter enjoy an afternoon walk in the Bigodi wetlands for about 3 hours. The wetlands are a home to a variety of monkey species that you are bound to find intriguing. Another activity you can undertake today is Chimpanzee habituation trekking at your own expense.

Day 5Departure - End of Safari

There will not be much activity on this day, as we will traveling back to Kampala and Entebbe or any other place you will be heading too and this will be the end of our safari.
