Day 1: Arrive Kigali and Travel to Ruhengeri
Upon your arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be greeted by your driver guide. After a stop for lunch, we will proceed to Musanze. If time permits, we will also visit the breathtaking twin lakes, Burera and Ruhondo. Day 2: Gorilla Tracking Experience and Afternoon Ibyiwacu Cultural Village center
Following an early breakfast, we will head to Kinigi, the National Park headquarters, where you’ll meet your guides for the day. After completing the necessary park formalities, we will embark on the unforgettable experience of tracking mountain gorillas. Once we locate them, you will have a full hour to observe these majestic creatures in their natural habitat.
Afterwards, we will return to your hotel for lunch. Later, you may choose to visit the Ibyiwacu Cultural Village center. Dinner and overnight accommodations will be provided at the Five Volcanoes Boutique.

Day 3: Golden Monkeys, City Tour, and Shopping + Depart
Following breakfast, we’ll head to Kinigi, the National Park headquarters, where you’ll meet your guides for the Golden Monkeys Tracking experience. Once the tracking is complete, you’ll bid farewell to your host and depart for Kigali. In Kigali, we’ve included a complimentary city tour where you can visit notable sites such as the craft market, the Gisozi genocide memorial site, and the Kigali museum. You’ll also have time for last-minute shopping in one of Africa’s friendliest capitals before transferring to the airport for your international flight home.
