Day 1: Transfer to Kibale National Park
On your first day of your chimpanzee trekking safari in Kibale Forest will start with meeting your guide. He will brief you of what your safari entails and you will then head on a 6-hour drive to Fort-portal, the city is with close proximity with the Kibale Forest National Park.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest
You will have a hearty breakfast before heading to Kibale National Forest Park, then a short briefing at the park before undertaking the chimpanzee trekking. Chimpanzee trekking is one of the most fascinating safaris undertaken in the forest since it is habited by a vast number of the primates. Also expect to see a variety of bird species nestled under trees in the forest.
After spending time with the chimpanzees, you will have lunch and thereafter enjoy an afternoon walk in the Bigodi wetlands for about 3 hours. The wetlands are a home to a variety of monkey species that you are bound to find intriguing. Another activity you can undertake today is Chimpanzee habituation trekking at your own expense.

Day 3: Departure – End of Safari
